An artistic, ambitious, and lucky bookworm with no sense of humor.

Lifetime Wish: Star News Anchor

Executive Chef

Traits:
A grumpy, neat natural cook, vehicle enthusiast and introvert.

Lifetime Wish: Celebrated Five-Star Chef

Nathaniel Graystone
Teenager
High School Student
Son of Ethan and Melissa

Traits:
A clumsy, charismatic, heavy sleeper, who is a daredevil.

Jacob Graystone
Child
Son of Ethan and Melissa
Elementary School Student

Traits:
An absent minded, inappropriate computer whiz.

Alex Graystone
Toddler
Son of Ethan and Melissa

Traits:
An easily impressed loner.

An absent minded person who loves the outdoors.

Nice work cheese, it's looking like this will be cool. I may start publishing one myself soon... though it's not a family yet so it won't be as interesting. :P

Look forward to the family's escapades.

Ethan called to announce the exciting news, that he had been promoted to news anchor! He used his bonus to buy a new fancy LCD-HDTV for the living room and move the old one (which happened to be almost the same thing except it sat on the ground) to the bedroom.

His boss did tell him though, that if he were to ever be successful as a news anchor, he would have to improve his writing skill. So after wasting $400 on a class that taught him nothing, he proceeded to type away at the computer to improve his writing.

While he was practicing, it occured to him.
Why not write books?
He thought to himself, "I mean, I make nearly $300 off of royalties for the articles I write for the paper, imagine how much I'd make off of a best-selling novel!"

Not to mention, "I'm only the anchor at the 4, 5, and 6 PM news four days out of the week! Also it'd be a good thing to fall back on when I retire. Not to mention the nearly $3000 I'll be making weekly off of pensions..."

As Ethan got off of the computer, Melissa walked in the front door coming home from work.

Oh no....

Immediately after walking into the living room...

"What's this?" Melissa asked Ethan.

"What do you mean?"
"This! This huge television! And where's our old one?"
"Well, I got a raise and I figured spend it on something nice..."
"Something nice?! You know what would be nice? A second bathroom!"
"I know we need a new bathroom, but...."
"But.....?"
"But......"
"I can't believe you Ethan. You greedy.... whatever!"

Looks like Ethan will be sleeping on the couch tonight :P

I hope they have a comfortable couch. :P
Nice story line so far... have you considered selling a window or two for the bathroom fund? :P
