Show Us Your... Downtown/CBD
« on: September 19, 2012, 05:50:37 pm »
Show us your downtown's and CBD's! They can be skyscraper jungles, or small-town downtowns. Look forward to seeing your work!

Here a couple from me:

This first one is from the Sherkston CBD:

This second one is a small-town downtown, in Dofino.

These condo buildings are extending the reach of Sherkston's downtown...

That looks fantastic, Durfsurn! I have long tried to accomplish an area like this - but have never quite achieved it to what I imagined. :P This, looks awesome!

Wow! Most of my CBD's are plopped with grown buildings mixed in for good measure.

Post them anyways, I seriously doubt we'd hate them. :P Besides, maybe we could provide some pointers. :)

Nice dense CBD SimLink. I am not that good at making CBDs but I recommend just go wild downloading things and then piping them.

It's been a longtime coming, for me. I've been downloading high rises for 4 years, about time my CBD's look semi-good. :P Funny thing is, this is actually outside the CBD. This is an extension of it...

That highlights the growth Holt District is experiencing right now. :)

After some removal of unwanted dirty industry, the city of Inaia experienced a new growth of residence in the north around North Park.  The CBD has expanded across the highway into East Inaia around the national airport.  The population of the tile is around 284000 at the time of the picture.

Wow, very nice. :) Redevelopment of industrial areas can be fun, and it looks like you executed it very well. Was that highway added in after development started, or was it there from the beginning?
